Apple fixed a zero-day security vulnerability that was ‘exploited’ on most iPhones
According to Apple, security researchers at Google’s Threat Analysis Group (TAG) first discovered and reported the bug to the company. Tracked as CVE-2022-42856, the vulnerability has been described as a type confusion issue in the WebKit browser engine that could be triggered when processing specially crafted content, leading to arbitrary code execution.
