PayPal will work with Samsung Pay
Samsung Pay will soon accept PayPal as a payment method in addition to bank accounts, credit cards, and gift cards. The new partnership also allows merchants who use Braintree, PayPal’s subsidiary, to add Samsung Pay as a checkout option. The update, coming soon, will be available first for customers in the US, with a more global expansion to follow.

Windows 10 Creators Update is incompatible with certain PCs already running Windows 10
PCs powered by Intel’s Atom Clover Trail CPUs aren’t compatible with the Creators Update. These devices first appeared on the market around 2013-2014, running Windows 8, and could be upgraded, for free, to Windows 10 without problems. However, the Creators Update fails to install on those PCs, with a message stating: “Windows 10 is no longer supported on this PC. Uninstall this app now because it isn’t compatible with Windows 10”.

Nokia 8 will be launched on July 31st and will have dual 13 MP cameras with Carl Zeiss optics. It will come with a 5.3-inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

Alphabet Inc.’s Google has offered science labs and artificial intelligence researchers early access to its quantum machines over the internet in recent months. The goal is to accelerate the development of tools and applications for the technology, and ultimately turn it into a faster, more powerful cloud-computing service.

SoftBank and WeWork launch joint venture in Japan
Earlier this year SoftBank invested $300m in WeWork, and had plans to invest as much as $3bn in total. For the project in Japan, SoftBank and WeWork will each own 50 per cent and both sides will invest hundreds of millions of dollars into the venture.

DC security robot quits its job by drowning itself in a fountain
It appears the robot, a Knightscope K5, ran itself right into a water fountain inside an office complex. No word on whether it survived its injury or why the incident occurred. Did it hate its job? Did it just overhear some horrifying news?
