Microsoft announced that the SolarWinds hackers gained access to source code for Azure, Exchange and Intune
Microsoft said that based on searches the hackers performed on repositories, their intent appeared to be uncovering “secrets” included in the source code. The company stated that they have a strict development policy that prohibits storing secrets in source code and use automated tools to verify this compliance. Microsoft determined that the accessed code did not contain any credentials.

WhatsApp privacy policy will come with a banner and users must accept by May 15
“In the coming weeks, we’ll display a banner in WhatsApp providing more information that people can read at their own pace”, the company said. Users will need to be aware that their communications with businesses are not as secure as their private messages. This impacts a growing number of WhatsApp users, 175 million of whom now communicate with businesses on the app.
