MailChimp disclosed its systems got hacked
For the second time in recent months, email marketing company MailChimp found itself to be the target of a cyberattack. One of the customers affected by this breach is the WooCommerce eCommerce plugin for WordPress. WooCommerce has emailed customers warning them that the MailChimp breach exposed their names, store URLs, addresses, and email addresses.
Microsoft will stop selling Windows 10
After January 31, Microsoft will only sell Windows 11 licenses on its website. The company will support Windows 10 for a few more years, but users you won’t be able to buy a Windows 10 licence except through third-party retailers.
Shell will acquire EV charging company Volta for $169 million
Through this acquisition, the company can expand the Shell Recharge network in the United States. Volta has more than 3,000 charging stations across the US and a handful in Europe, typically at grocery stores and malls.
Amazon will lay off 18,000 people
CEO Andy Jassy said that the 18,000 job cuts would affect several teams but those most affected would be the Amazon Stores and People Experience and Technology (PXT) Solutions teams.
