Andromeda is Microsoft’s vision of the mobile future
Andromeda will most likely be more than just a device. Rather, it will probably be a unique interface that offers numerous functions that have not been seen before from Microsoft. Andromeda is also the codename of a mobile-type device or Pocket-PC which is foldable and is supposed to create a new category of mobile devices. Microsoft is working on optimizing its apps for a dual-screen setup as there are rumors that dual-panel UWP apps are now being quietly developed.

Facebook, Google, Twitter testified in Russia inquiry
The tech companies testified for the first time as part of an ongoing congressional investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election. All three company representatives agreed with the intelligence community’s assessment that the Kremlin was instrumental in launching propaganda operations against the US before and during the election period.

Microsoft Surface Pro
The Surface Pro will have an Intel Core i5 processor, 4 GB RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon X16 modem. It will be launched in December with a starting price of $1,149.

Razer Phone will have a 5.72-inch display, 8GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and a 4,000mAh battery. It will come with dual front-facing Dolby speakers and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.

Google makes it easier to pair Bluetooth devices on Android with Fast Pair
Starting with Google Play Services 11.7 on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and higher, users will be able to take advantage of the new Fast Pair feature. This new approach uses Bluetooth Low Energy and your Android phone’s location to automatically discover Bluetooth accessories in close proximity and then automatically connect with a tap.

Microsoft will integrate LinkedIn with Outlook.com
Microsoft announced that LinkedIn integration within Outlook.com will allow email users to view insights, profile pictures, work history and more from within their inbox. Microsoft said that the new feature will be available within Outlook.com on the web, as well as Outlook for Windows, Outlook for iOS, and other Office products.

Sony’s new Aibo pet robot has OLED eyes and can develop a unique personality
Sony says Aibo’s behavior is adaptable, with the dog seeking out owners, learning what makes them happy, and gradually growing accustomed to wider environments. It uses deep learning technology to analyze the sounds and images coming through Aibo’s array of sensors, and uses cloud data to learn from the experiences of other Aibo units and owners.
