Facebook is working on its own operating system
In the future, Facebook’s hardware products, like Oculus and Portal devices, could run on the new OS, Facebook exec Ficus Kirkpatrick said. It will be built from scratch, and the project is being led by Mark Lucovsky, a former Microsoft engineer who co-authored the Windows NT operating system.

Over 267 million Facebook users had their phone numbers exposed online
Security researcher Bob Diachenko have uncovered a database containing more than 267 million Facebook users’ data that was left exposed online, with not even a password preventing unauthorized access to it. The database contained user IDs, phone numbers, and names of mostly US-based users.
