IBM unveils Blockchain as a Service
International Business Machines has launched a service that will allow businesses to build applications on its cloud using blockchain code from the Hyperledger Project, the cross-industry group led by the Linux Foundation. The new product called IBM Blockchain is the first service for developers to build enterprise-grade technology using Hyperledger Fabric.

AMD is accusing LG, MediaTek, Sigma Designs and Vizio of patent infringement
The US International Trade Commission has agreed to begin an investigation in alleged GPU patent infringement. LG, MediaTek, Sigma Designs and Vizio have allegedly used visual processing in their various products, including smartphones, TVs, and mobile processors that infringe on AMD’s concepts for unified graphics shaders and parallel graphics pipelines.

Google Assistant can now control Neato’s vacuum cleaners
Users can use Google Assistant on Google Home to control the Neato robot vacuums with their voice. First users have to say the Ok Google command, and after that “tell Neato robot to start cleaning” and the robot vacuum will turn on and move away from its home base to get started.

The smart coffee table has a refrigerated drawer and can charge a phone
The table has three drawers, one of which is refrigerated. The temperature can be set to 3 to 5 degrees Celsius via touchscreens on the tabletop. The controls, which also let you adjust the music you’re playing through the table’s built-in speakers, are under tempered glass.
