Google aims to launch a commercial-grade quantum computer by 2029
In the following years Google plans to build a ”useful, error-corrected quantum computer”. The company recently opened an expanded California-based campus focused on this effort. Google, which has been investing in the quantum technology for several years, is one of many companies including International Business Machines, D-Wave Systems and Honeywell International working to commercialize it.

Microsoft announced that the support for Internet Explorer will end on June 15, 2022
To ensure a smooth transition and allow ample time for the general public and corporations to shift from Internet Explorer, Microsoft has announced a timeline for the gradual phasing out of IE11. Internet Explorer 11 will no longer be supported for Microsoft’s online services like Office 365, OneDrive, Outlook, and more on August 17th. On June 15, 2022 the company will not be removing from computers but will instead be disable it.

Google, Samsung and Fitbit will collaborate to improve Wear (OS)
The companies announced that will work together to produce a “unified platform” that combines “the best of Wear and Tizen”. Tizen is Samsung’s proprietary OS, and Wear is Google’s OS for wearable devices. The collaboration will focus on three main objectives, which include improving the performance of the OS, enhancing battery life, and attracting more developers to the wearable platform.

IFA Berlin 2021, scheduled for September, has been cancelled
The Germany tech expo IFA 2021 has been canceled because of uncertainties around the coronavirus pandemic. The organizers are now preparing for IFA 2022, which should be a full-scale live event, taking place between September 2-6 2022.
