China banned chips from US company Micron over “major security risks”
Micron produces a wide variety of chips such as RAM, DRAM, and storage. Authorities barred operators of “critical information infrastructure” in China from buying products from the U.S. chip company following a security review conducted by the Cyberspace Administration.
