EA Origin had a vulnerability that could have affected 300 million users
EA had to launch an update after researchers from Check Point Research and CyberInt found an EA Origin vulnerability that could have exposed millions of people to account takeovers. The security flaw would have let hackers hijack people’s account without needing to steal a login and password.

Google lets users to set a time limit to auto-delete location history and web activity data
Google is now launching its location history auto-delete feature after announcing it back in May. Prior to the implementation of the new feature, Google allowed Location History and Web & App Activity to be disabled or manually deleted, but there were no controls for regular deletion.

Tesla will start producing its own battery cells
Tesla is reportedly creating designs and prototypes for lithium-ion battery. The company is also developing the equipment and methods needed to manufacture the cells. Panasonic is Tesla’s current battery-cell supplier, making cells at the company’s Gigafactory in Nevada.
