Windows 8.1 September update bug prevents Microsoft account logins
Windows 8.1 doesn’t let users sign into their PC using the Microsoft account. When they try to do so, Windows 8.1 saysthat it cannot connect to Microsoft’s services at the moment. In case the problem persists, it advises users to search for “network problems” on the Start screen. Microsoft acknowledged the problem and admitted that the September Update is to blame. The company said on Microsoft Answers that there’s a bug in the latest update and that support engineers are currently working on a fix to minimize the inconvenience for the users.

Samsung Electronics and SK Telecom have succeeded in linking 4G and 5G networks
The two companies said they successfully made communications between the long-term evolution network that utilizes 2.6 GHz frequency band, with that of the 5G network that uses the 28 GHz and 3.5 GHz frequency band. The technology, Multi-RAT Interworking, will allow faster commercialisation of 5G networks. Users of 4G networks will be able to switch back and forth between them as soon as 5G begins deployment.

BMW will integrate Alexa into its cars in 2018
The vehicle integration will begin in the middle of next year and will provide access to Alexa skills and voice-based capabilities right from the infotainment system. Alexa visual content will also be displayed on the head unit inside the vehicle. “It’s a complete, comprehensive set of internet capabilities that is available inside your vehicle,” a BMW executive said.
