Huawei AppGallery has 530 million monthly active users and 83% increase in app distribution
Currently, the platform has over 2.3 million registered developers. This is up by 77 percent from last year and also counts 300,000 developers outside China. AppGallery’s global audience has grown to 530 million monthly active users (MAUs), and increased in Europe by 61.5% year-on-year to more than 42 million users.

Amazon has released the Alexa Conversations feature of the Alexa Skills Kit (ASK) to the general public
Alexa Conversations is aimed at simplifying the process of building voice apps and making them more user-friendly. It utilizes AI innovations to better understand humans so developers don’t have to figure out everything a user might say while interacting with it. With Alexa Conversations, a chatbot can predict the next steps in the dialog based on the entire conversation’s history and the capabilities of the developer’s API, Drew Meyer, head of Alexa Everywhere, said.

Volvo will sell only electric vehicles by 2030
Volvo said its goal is to have half of its global sales to be fully electric cars by 2025, with the remaining half made up of hybrids. The company claims that the electric vehicles will be sold exclusively online. Showrooms representing Volvo will be used to service cars, provide pick-up points for vehicles and offer in-store advice, as well as displaying some available models.
