The free iOS app is designed to make it easy for users to switch to Android. The Switch to Android app displays a QR code on the iPhone, which users then scan to start transferring photos, videos, contacts, and calendar events wirelessly.

An FCC Commissioner asked Apple and Google to ban TikTok
A member of the Federal Communications Commission has asked Google and Apple to remove TikTok from their app stores. He cited concerns that the Chinese-owned video app could send American data back to Beijing. Apple and Google have until July 8th to explain why they aren’t removing the app from their stores if they refuse to do so.

Brazil is proposing making USB-C chargers mandatory for iPhones
The Brazilian telecom regulator has proposed to make USB-C chargers mandatory for all smartphones sold in the country, after the US and the EU announced similar plans. The agency intend to standardize the charging protocol too. The retail package and manual will have to indicate the minimum power required and whether fast charging is supported.
