Samsung and Naver will collaborate to create the first private 5G network for cloud-based autonomous robots
The private wireless 5G network, designed to support secure and data-intensive communications of a specific entity within a specific area, will be deployed in Naver’s second headquarters building. It will be used exclusively for autonomous robots to travel around the new headquarters building and move between floors with ultralow latency wireless communications.

Meta will add a new ‘Calls’ tab to Messenger
Meta will launch a new ‘Calls’ tab globally in its Messenger app for iOS and Android. The new section will open up to a list of the user’s contacts, along with separate buttons for voice and video calls. For people who don’t regularly use the feature, it adds a clear reminder that they can use the app for calls in addition to text-based messaging.

iPadOS 16 will have a ‘redesigned multitasking interface’
The update is described as “one of the biggest upgrades” that Apple will announce at WWDC next week. Apple’s goal is to turn iPadOS into a more of “laptop experience” in terms of multitasking and windowing support.

Samsung plans to transition from paper documentation to electronic documentation
Papers previously provided to customers regarding their product repair, such as service records and receipts will be replaced by electronic documentation sent via email or message. More than 11,000 service centers in 180 countries operated by 40 Samsung Electronics subsidiaries around the world will adopt this system.
