Google discovered a severe vulnerability in GitHub
Project Zero team from Google unveiled a “high” severity issue found in the workflow commands in GitHub Actions. Felix Wilhelm, who discovered the flaw, said that the feature is highly vulnerable to injection attacks. Wilhelm also said that he’s unsure how to fix the issue as the way workflow commands are implemented is “fundamentally insecure”.

Windows 10 disable access to some Control Panel pages
Microsoft is working to replace the old Windows Control Panel, which is more than 20 years old, with a more Modern version in Settings. In the Windows 10 Insider Preview Builds,users who click on links in the Control Panel are redirected to the corresponding Settings page and is impossible to show the old Control Panel module.

Apple will host “One More Thing” event on November 10th
The event will likely announce the release date for macOS Big Sur, along with the unveiling of Macs built around the company’s priority ARM-based processors. Apple announced plans to switch over from Intel processors to its own Apple Silicon CPUs back in June at WWDC, promising that the first computers using the Arm-based chips would be out later in 2020.

TikTok signed a licensing agreement with Sony Music
TikTok has signed a deal with Sony Music Entertainment that will give all its users access to Sony’s portfolio of music. The agreement will also see the companies partnering on efforts to promote Sony artists, TikTok said.
