US Supreme Court rules in Google’s favor in copyright dispute with Oracle over Android software
The process has been going on for nearly 11 years now after Oracle first sued Google claiming that the Android mobile OS violates Oracle copyright. Over the years, the dispute has been through a range of courts with various judges ruling for one side or the other. The court sided 6-2 in Google’s favor and should be more final than others.

Yahoo Answers will be shutting down on May 4th
Yahoo Answers is closing permanently on May 4th, after which the page will redirect users to the Yahoo homepage. Yahoo, which was purchased by VerizonMedia Group in 2017 for $5 billion, says that a decline in popularity is one of the reasons why the are closing the Answers page.

WhatsApp is testing the option for iOS users to migrate chat history to Android
WhatsApp is testing the chat history migration feature which would let users transfer their chat history from Android to iOS and vice versa. The option is currently under development and will be available in a future update.

Google acquired Dysonics, a startup focused on 3D audio tech
Dysonics previously developed a wireless motion sensor for headphones, called Rondo Motion, which modified the sound output based on how the head was turned (giving users A VR-like spatial awareness). It’s not clear what Google’s plans are with Dysonics but it could launch updated Pixel Buds with 3D audio.
