Neuralink is under federal investigation over animal testing
Neuralink, the brain implant startup co-founded by Elon Musk, is accused of allegedly violating the Animal Welfare Act amid staff complaints its animal testing has been rushed, causing unnecessary suffering and death. Since 2018, roughly 1,500 animals, including sheep, pigs, and monkeys, have been killed during Neuralink testing, according to the report.
