20GB of confidential data from Intel was posted online
Intel is investigating a security breach after 20 GB of internal documents, with some marked “confidential” or “restricted secret,” were uploaded online on file-sharing site MEGA. According to Tillie Kottmann, a developer who received the documents from an anonymous hacker, most of the information is supposed to be protected intellectual property and it includes source code, processor generation documentation, and more.

Nearly 50% of all smartphones affected by Qualcomm Snapdragon vulnerabilities
A security researcher from Check Point found more than 400 vulnerabilities in Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, which is in more than 40 percent of Android devices. The bugs could allow a malicious app to record calls and turn on a device’s microphone without people knowing about it. Other vulnerabilities include allowing a malicious app to brick devices and to hide other malware on phones.

Microsoft ended tests with xCloud gaming platform on iOS due to App Store policies
While Microsoft is preparing to launch the Android version, it has ended its public trial of Project xCloud game streaming service on iOS, with the app no longer available. That action was reportedly taken because of Apple’s App Store restrictions, including rules about in-app purchases.
