Dozens of iOS apps are vulnerable to attacks that can intercept protected data
Researchers at Sudo Security Group Inc. found the 76 applications in Apple’s iOS App Store had implemented encrypted communications with their back-end services in such a way that user information could be intercepted in a hack. The vulnerability of the apps comes from the possibility that a forged certificate sent back by a proxy can allow their Transport Layer Security to be unencrypted and examined as it is passed over the Internet.

Google’s Play Store could come to China through NetEase
Google’s presence in China is limited and the Play Store is almost non-existent. Although Google Play is not technically banned in China, all apps that have in-app purchases are blocked, which leaves only free apps available. The Play Store version, brought through through NetEase would have to be a customised one keeping in mind China’s censorship laws.

Lenovo ThinkPad P71
Lenovo’s ThinkPad P71 is a laptop that can work with HTC’s Vive and the Oculus Rift VR headsets. It has a 17-inch screen and is equipped with Intel’s latest Xeon E3-v6 mobile chips. The laptop will be available in April, starting at $1,849.

Asus ZenFone 3S Max
It comes with a 5.2-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass on top, a MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage. The phone has a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8 MP front camera.

Apple is developing a new connector for Lightning and USB-C headphones
All of Apple’s current products use two different types of connector: Lightning, which is found on iPhones, and USB-C, which is used on the new MacBook Pro. The new connector is called the “Ultra Accessory Connector” will be used “as an intermediary” so that headphones can be compatible with both Lighting and USB-C.

Google integrates accelerated mobile pages in search, allowing for easier link sharing
First, Google is making it easier to copy the original link from AMP results. A new anchor button will appear in the header that shows the full original link. In addition, Google will add a Share button in the AMP header, which would allow users to send the link to any installed Android app. Google announced in a blog post that the feature is already available on Google for iOS and will be rolling out for Android devices over the course of the next few weeks.

“Rock Band VR” will be launched on to the Oculus Rift on March 23rd
The Rock Band VR pre-order comes with a controller for $69.99, which can also work either with your Xbox One or PlayStation 4 with Rock Band 4. The Oculus Rift Touch Controllers shipped with an adapter in the box allows users to use the Rock Band controller in VR. VR compatibility is limited to the PC and Oculus Rift at launch.
