Android will natively support foldable phones
Google announced that it will be adding native support for devices with foldable displays into Android. Android VP of Engineering Dave Burke said that he expects to see foldable devices from several different Android manufacturers. He also mentioned Samsung, saying that they are working closely together on a device planned for an early 2019 launch.

Samsung showcased a prototype of its “Infinity Flex Display”
Samsung has unveiled a flexible display at the company’s 2018 developer conference in San Francisco. When closed, it looks like a regular smartphone, and the cover can be used to display information like the weather and time. It can then be unfolded like a book to reveal a 7.3-inch display that functions similarly to a miniature tablet.

Samsung revealed the new One UI software
One UI features not only a refreshed design with rounded corners in its icons, but also a minimalist aesthetic that the company said will draw users’ eyes “to what matters”. This appears to be a successor to the Samsung Experience, which itself replaced TouchWiz, the company’s early name for its Android skin.
