Nvidia will pay a $5.5 million fine for ‘inadequate disclosures’ about cryptomining
The company will pay $5.5 million to settle US Securities and Exchange Commission charges it failed to disclose that crypto mining played a “significant” role in its surging revenue from GPU sales throughout 2018. The SEC’s also maintains that NVIDIA misled investors by acknowledging that crypto demand did affect other aspects of its business at the time.

Google unveiled a new ‘Immersive View’ in Maps for cities, landmarks or popular venues
Immersive View uses computer vision and AI to blend Maps’ existing Street View function with aerial photography to create high-resolution models of the various buildings and urban features of a given location. This feature will initially work for LA, London, New York, San Francisco and Tokyo, with more cities coming soon after.
