Job Description

The Cloud Systems Engineer will work closely with architects and engineers to recommend solutions and design databases. You will build new Azure Cloud services and will contribute on cloud design and migrations, scalability and deployment.

Our client develops develops motion analysis algorithms and cloud computing for advanced analytics. The company has the headquarters in London, with offices in Barcelona, Cluj-Napoca and Sydney. They are seeking talented and reliable developers to accelerate their growth.


The job also consists of:

-Managing and leading technical projects starting with requirements gathering through design and implementation
-Working closely with product managers and application Engineers.
-Planing, organizing, and controling multiple responsibilities to achieve project objective.
-Ensuring technical solutions meet the needs of business.


Desired skills

Required skills:
Ability to Define the Cloud Architecture for both hybrid and non-hybrid cloud solutions;
Strong practical Linux and/or Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment;
Background in multiple technical disciplines, including exposure to various operating systems, virtual hypervisors, VDI, end user device management;
Ability to work well under pressure, meeting multiple deadlines;
Broad technical knowledge which could include configuration management, DevOps tools and scripting (preferably PowerShell).


Experience

At least 5 years of experience;
Experience with troubleshooting and incident response best practice;
Experience building and implementing cloud infrastructure;
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
