In your as the Delivery Manager you will own overall project plan and detailed sprint plans.

Their development centre in Romania is located in Cluj-Napoca, where they employ more than 250 people.

About the position

You will manage and allocate the team’s workload and be accountable for development deliverables. This position requires a person with good communication and leadership skills who will guide a team of engineers towards building high-end, highly scalable web applications and services within the Foundations team. In order to be a successful candidate you will have to be a strong leader with good technical and problem solving skills.

The job also consists of:

– Managing tasks, allocation and delivery.
– Reviewing product specifications in order to provide product feedback and development estimates.
– Being a liaison between key stakeholders and development.
– Developing effectiveness measurements and corrective actions.
– Facilitating a balance between the commercial needs and technology capabilities.
– Being in line with technology emerging practice.
– Managing development lifecycle, development standards and technical risks.
– Developing deliverables and documentation.
– Resolving  issues in a timely fashion.

Experience developing redundant, distributed and transactional systems;
Strong track on cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc. or other payment methods (PayPal, Skrill, etc.) complex projects integrations;
Experience with commercial development in an enterprise environment;
Experience with Agile methods for software delivery;
Experience in Object Oriented Design;
Former experience using source code control (Git, Perforce, Subversion) in multi-branch environments and using defect tracking systems (Rally or JIRA);
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or appropriate postgraduate qualification).
