Microsoft confirms that some Windows 10 source code has leaked
Microsoft has admitted that a part of its Windows 10 source code has leaked on the Web. The leak was reported to have taken place on BetaArchive which describes itself as one of the Web’s largest beta and abandonware repositories. Microsoft told The Verge that it had confirmed that the leaked files were source code from its Shared Source Initiative and was used by OEMs and partners. The source code has now been removed from Beta Archive.

The cyber-attack of UK Parliament affected “up to 90 users”
The UK Parliament’s computer system has been hit by a cyberattack, a spokesperson for the Houses of Parliament said in a statement. The spokesman said the attack was a result of “weak passwords” and an investigation is under way to determine whether any data has been lost. Up to 90 email accounts were compromised during the cyber-attack.

Like Android Pay, Apple Pay, or Google Wallet, Samsung Pay use Near Field Communications to securely transmit the card information to a retailer. The process to add a Discover card to Samsung Pay is the same as any other card. Both Android Pay and Apple Pay support Discover cards, as well.

Artificial iris responds to light like the human eye
Researchers from the Technological University of Tampere, Finland, have created a unique iris which has the ability to respond to light. Scientists believe that with the help of new developments will be able to restore sight to blind people. It’s made from a polymer (a liquid crystal elastomer) that expands when exposed to light, then shrinks back when the light is lessened.

WhatsApp is becoming a top news source in some countries
According to a study that was conducted by the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, more and more people are beginning to rely on the WhatsApp instead of on its parent company, Facebook, for news. Over half of the Malaysian and 46 percent of the Brazilian participants said they use WhatsApp for news.
