Over 17,000 WordPress sites have been hacked through a tagDiv plugin vulnerability

Hackers used the CVE-2023-3169 cross-site scripting (XSS) flaw in tagDiv Composer, a companion tool for tagDiv’s Newspaper and Newsmag themes for WordPress sites. Newspaper and Newsmag themes have more than 155,000 downloads.

Google Chrome will add a new feature that will automatically organize tabs

Google is testing a new ‘Organize Tabs’ feature for Chrome that uses AI to group similar tabs. ‘Organize Tabs’ is currently only available in the Canary build and there is no clear timeline for when it will be officialy launched.

UK will build an exascale computer 50 times more powerful than its best supercomputer

The exascale computer was announced as part of a £900 million investment to upgrade the UK’s high-end computing capability. It will be used to bolster research into areas including medicine, climate science and clean energy and will be hosted by the University of Edinburgh.

ChatGPT’s mobile app had $4.58M in revenue last month

The mobile app of ChatGPT had a total of 15.6 million downloads on iOS and Android in September. The app has been available on the App Store since May and on Google Play since July.
