Google Gemini can now transform photos into videos
The company has launched its Veo 3 video generation model to Gemini users in more than 159 countries. All Gemini-generated videos will come with a visible watermark to show they are AI-generated and an invisible SynthID digital watermark.

YouTube is preparing to remove the Trending section that shows users which videos are currently going viral on the platform. The company said the update better aligns with the way trending content is discovered today.

EU opened a new investigation into TikTok over data transfers to China
TikTok was already fined 530 million euros in May by the Data Protection Commission over European data transfers to China. The Irish Data Protection Commission had expressed “deep concern” in its previous investigation that “TikTok had submitted inaccurate information”.
