A bug wiped out links and images in Twitter posts from before December 2014
The official X platform support account, @Support, confirmed the bug. This incident isn’t the first disruption experienced on the platform in recent months. In March, photos and links were temporarily affected due to API changes. Also, the platform faced scrutiny recently for intentionally slowing down links to various competitors.

Tesla claims that the data breach that affected over 75,000 people was caused by two ex-employees
In May, a news outlet received 23,000 files amassing 100 gigabytes from a mysterious informant. These files include addresses, bank information, and 75,735 Social Security numbers belonging to current or former Tesla employees. Now, the company reported the breach as “insider wrongdoing”.
