The complaint also mentiones the company’s failure to engage with local regulators before ChatGPT’s launch in Europe.

Baidu launched the AI chatbot Ernie
Ernie Bot is the first AI app to be fully available to the public in China. By releasing the model publicly, Baidu will be able to gain “massive” human feedback to improve the app. Ernie is not available outside of the country.

Google removed fake Signal and Telegram apps from the Play Store
The apps, which contained the BadBazaar spyware, were uploaded on Google Play and Samsung Galaxy Store by the China-based GREF APT hacking group. One of the apps, called Signal Plus Messenger, was available on Google Play for nine months.
