OpenAI has announced a new platform for creating custom versions of ChatGPT
These custom versions of the AI are being called “GPTs” and don’t require any coding to be programmed. OpenAI has also announced that users can also share GPTs publicly, with the launch of the GPT Store. The company said users would, “in the coming months,” be able to earn money based on the number of people using their GPT.

Microsoft added Excel integration into Bing Chat
Bing Chat users can now ask the chatbot to create tablets that can then be imported and edited into the web version of Excel. Once Bing Chat has made the table, users should see an “Edit to Excel” icon in the right corner.

YouTube is testing AI-generated comment summarization
The platform will use AI to summarise large comment sections within its Android and iOS apps, organising them into general topics. YouTube will also test a new conversational tool that uses AI to answer questions about the site’s content and make recommendations.

Microsoft Authenticator app can now block login attempts if it detects anomalies
Microsoft’s security expert, Alex Weinert, described how the company has been successfully suppressing anomalous login attempts that serve pop-up notifications via Authenticator. If Microsoft detects some anomalous signals in the login attempt, such as origination from an unfamiliar location, the firm will intentionally suppress the attempt and you won’t receive a notification. Instead, users will be asked to manually open the app and confirm the login attempt.
