Thousands of Android devices have a dangerous malware preinstalled
Cybersecurity researchers at Human Security reported that at least 74,000 Android phones, tablets, and Connected TV boxes worldwide were shipped with the Triada malware. Triada was designed with the specific intent to implement financial frauds, typically hijacking the financial SMS transactions. The only way to remove the threat is to reinstall the OS.

Hacker claims to have stolen genetic data from millions of 23andMe users and is trying to sell the information online
Biotech company 23andMe, known for its DNA testing kits, confirmed to BleepingComputer that its user data is circulating on hacker forums. Last week, data was being offered for sale in bulk, in increments of 100, 1,000, 10,000 or 100,000 profiles.
