Google will add the option to set the working location in Calendar

Previously, users could only indicate the days they would be working from a particular location. With the new functionality, users can now provide more accurate information about their availability based on the physical location they are working from, which may change throughout the day.

Google is testing a medical AI chatbot in hospitals

Med-PaLM 2 is an AI tool designed to provide answers to medical questions. According to The Wall Street Journal, the AI chatbot is being tested since April. The company stated that Med-PaLM 2 can be particularly helpful in countries with limited access to doctors.

Evernote has laid off most of its US employees and will move most operations to Europe

Evernote was acquired by Italian technology company Bending Spoons in November. The company said that its office will be moved because of the “significant boost in operational efficiency that will come as a consequence of centralizing operations in Europe“.

WhatsApp beta introduces sticker suggestion feature

The latest update includes a sticker tray above the keyboard that displays stickers linked to the entered emoji, making it easier to find and send the right sticker. It is currently available to some Android beta testers and will be gradually rolled out to more users.
