Google AI Opportunity Initiative for Europe
Google annouced the AI Opportunity Initiative for Europe, and will invest 25 million euros in this project

The funding is intended to support social enterprises and nonprofits that are engaged in providing AI courses in Europe. Google will also provide “growth academies” to support companies using AI to scale up their services and has expanded its free online AI training courses to 18 languages.

Samsung received FDA approval for sleep apnea detection on Galaxy Watch

The company will add the sleep apnea monitoring tool to compatible Galaxy Watch wearables in the third quarter of this year. It will be available via the Samsung Health Monitor app.

Apple approved a fake ‘LastPass Password Manager’ app for the App Store

The fake version of LastPass was available for weeks before it was eventually taken down. The company removed the app, but at the same time, it allowed a separate app submitted by the same developer to remain.

Google renamed Bard to Gemini

Alphabet CEO announced that Bard will simply be known as Gemini, with the bard.google.com URL redirecting to gemini.google.com. The company also launched a new Gemini app for Android.

Ace 3 Pro will have a 6.78-inch OLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

The phone will have 6.78-inch AMOLED display, Dimensity 8200 processor and 12GB of RAM. It will come with a 5,000mAh battery.
