Google will remove 17 ‘underutilized’ features from Google Assistant
The company annouced this decision to “focus on quality and reliability”. Google didn’t specify how removing certain commands will improve Assistant, nor did it describe any specific quality and reliability problems. If a user tries to click on a feature that is going to be removed, they will be notified with the particular date after which it will no longer be available.

eBay will pay a $3 million criminal penalty over a bizarre cyberstalking campaign
Seven former eBay employees sent live insects and grotesque items to two bloggers who were critical of the site. The Justice Department, citing admissions made by eBay, reported that the employees also traveled to the bloggers’s home to surveil them and install a GPS tracker on their car.

Apple released a security update to various Magic Keyboards models to fix a Bluetooth vulnerability
An Apple suport document states that “an attacker with physical access to the accessory may be able to extract its Bluetooth pairing key and monitor Bluetooth traffic”. The keyboard will update on its own when connected to a device running macOS, iOS, iPadOS, or tvOS.
