Microsoft and OpenAI claim hackers are using generative AI to enhance cybearattacks

The two companies said they detected and disrupted many threats that used or attempted to exploit AI technology they had developed. In a blog post, Microsoft said the techniques employed were “early-stage” and neither “particularly novel or unique”.

Microsoft will add voice transcription on Skype

Microsoft’s latest Skype update, version 8.113, comes with an Audio Transcription feature, which allows users to convert voice messages into text format. Users can easily access the transcribed text by clicking on the “View Text” button below each voice message.

USPTO confirmed that artificial intelligence systems cannot be named inventors, but humans can use AI tools in the process of creating patented inventions and must disclose if they do.

Apple announced there are over 1,000 dedicated apps for Vision Pro

When the wearable headset launched, Apple stated that there were more than 600 apps available for the unit. Another 400 have recently been added. The apps are available in a dedicated visionOS App Store.
