UK’s Department of Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) drafted regulations that will target the most powerful language models, such as those that power OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Guvernment officials have also been suggesting that UK copyright legislation be amended to protect content creators from AI models scraping their content.

Tesla is reportedly laying off over 10 percent of its employees
