Apple, Visa and Mastercard are sued for conspiring to limit competition for point-of-sale payment card services
The lawsuit alleges that Apple conspired with the credit card companies to not compete with them in exchange for receiving a portion of transaction fees for purchases made using their cards tied to Apple’s mobile wallet. The suit calls the payments a “very large and ongoing cash bribe” that equates to hundreds of millions of dollars each year.

Google is reportedly working on an AI assistant for Pixel phones, called “Pixie”
The assistant will be exclusive to Google’s Pixel devices and use data from Google products like Gmail and Maps. That would help it “evolve into a far more personalized version of the Google Assistant,” the report states.The feature could reportedly launch with the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro next year.
