Google launched a new AI model called Gemma
Gemma shares some “technical and infrastructure components” with Gemini but is a local model rather than access AI via the cloud. The company has made Gemma available in two different sizes, Gemma 2B and Gemma 7B. Google also unveiled the Responsible Generative AI Toolkit, aiming to guide developers towards creating safer AI applications.
