Google is reportedly paying publishers thousands of dollars to use its generative AI to write at least three articles a day
According to Adweek, Google launched a private program giving independent news organizations access to a beta generative artificial intelligence platform. In exchange for this access, Google asks for feedback from these publishers. Publishers in the program are apparently not required to disclose their use of AI, nor are the aggregated websites informed that their content is being used to create AI-written stories on other sites.

Meta Quest headsets will start collecting ‘anonymized’ data after the next update
The data collected could include facial expressions, eye and body tracking, voice interactions, along with raw images taken from the VR headset’s sensors. It’s yet unclear how Meta will anonymize the collected data.

GitHub launched ‘Copilot Enterprise’, an AI coding assistant for businesses
Copilot Enterprise can generate code suggestions, answer queries, and summarize changes based on the organization’s own codebase and standards. GitHub said the AI assistant is available to GitHub Enterprise Cloud subscribers only, and is priced at $39 per user per month.
