ChatGPT iOS app now has Bing integration
ChatGPT Plus subscribers can now enable a new “Browsing” feature that uses GPT-4 combined with Bing search. ChatGPT has been trained with data from no later than September 2021, so it will use Bing search to give more accurate answers based on recent data. The free version of ChatGPT is only capable of surfacing information up to the year 2021.

Google has reportedly cancelled ‘Project Iris’ AR glasses
According to internal sources, Google will focus on software instead of hardware. It’s building a “micro XR” platform it could license to other headset manufacturers.

WhatsApp Business has 200 million active users
Soon, businesses will be able to publish ads directly to Facebook or Instagram from the app and there will be no requirement of a Facebook account. Meta said it’s also testing letting businesses automatically send personalized messages to multiple customers for a fee.

Google is laying off employees at Waze
Google has been merging Waze with its own mapping products since late last year. In an email to employees the company said it is shifting its Waze strategy to include Google ads rather than using a separate ads system.
