ownCloud vulnerability with maximum 10 severity score can be used to steal admin passwords

ownCloud says on its own website that it has 600 enterprise customers and 200 million users with customers including the European Commission. Security researchers found three critical security flaws in the file-sharing software which, if exploited, could reveal sensitive information and modify files. The most critical of three OwnCloud vulnerabilities appears to be under active exploitation.

Hackers stole secrets from NXP, Europe’s largest chipmaker, over the course of more than 2 years

Chimera, a hacker group, infiltrated the network of the Dutch semiconductor giant NXP and had access for over two years from late 2017 to the beginning of 2020. The breach was discovered following a related attack on the Dutch airline Transavia. The hack involved the utilization of previously compromised credentials and brute-force attacks, the modification of phone numbers to evade double authentication techniques, and the usage of the ChimeRAR hacking tool.

UK regulators claim Adobe’s $20 billion Figma acquisition could harm competition

The Competition and Markets Authority said the deal could “eliminate competition,” “reduce innovation” and “remove Figma as a threat to Adobe’s flagship Photoshop and Illustrator products”.
