Microsoft Edge is reportedly stealing Chrome data without user permission
Microsoft’s browser has a feature that can automatically migrate data from Edge to Chrome, like open tabs, history, favorites, etc. During the initial setup, Edge asks users to allow it to sync with other browsers so they can seamlessly switch from Chrome or Firefox. But apparently, Edge does not care what option users pick and steals data from Chrome when it is not supposed to.

The company’s decision to withdraw from its previously announced $1.7 billion acquisition is because it faced challenges from regulators in the European Union. Immediately after the deal was publicly abandoned, iRobot announced it would lay off 31% of its staff.
