Arm warned of an actively exploited vulnerability in Mali GPU drivers

The flaw, CVE-2023-4211, was discovered and reported to Arm by researchers of Google’s Threat Analysis Group (TAG) and Project Zero. The company said that it has found evidence that the vulnerability “may be under limited, targeted exploitation”. Details about it are not publicly available but the security issue is described as an improper access to freed memory.

Microsoft has spent around $100 billion to build and develop its Bing search engine

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella testified at the United States Justice Department’s antitrust trial about Google. The company has been accused of maintaining a monopoly in search by using unlawful practices. Nadella told the court that Microsoft has invested $100 billion in Bing so far to stop Google from having a monopoly.

China could ban millions of apps from the Apple App Store

Apple staff met with Chinese officials in recent months to discuss concerns over new rules that will restrict Apple from offering many foreign apps currently available in its China App Store. The new legislation will require apps to be licensed by the Chinese government.
