23andMe blames users for the data breach that impacted 6.9 million of people
The company claims that users should’ve picked a better password if they didn’t want their data stolen and that its own systems were never breached by the criminals. However, critics have pointed out that 23andMe should have probably required users to use multi-factor authentication. The company only instituted mandatory 2FA after users’ data was stolen.

SpaceX launched the first Starlink satellites that will be able to connect directly to cell phones
The launch of the new Starlink satellites into orbit is part of a partnership with T-Mobile to provide cellular phone service in parts of the US. Other wireless providers across the world, including Japan’s KDDI, Australia’s Optus, New Zealand’s One NZ, Canada’s Rogers will collaborate with SpaceX to launch direct-to-cell technology.
