Google launched a new AI model called Gemini

According to Google, Gemini is the company’s most capable AI model, and outperforms top AI models like GPT-3.5 on several benchmarks, especially for comprehension and reasoning. Built to run on systems like data centres to mobile devices, it can seamlessly process and integrate text, code, audio, images, and videos, making it a versatile AI model.

LogoFAIL firmware attack could affect almost every Windows and Linux device

The LogoFAIL attack exploits vulnerabilities in the image parsers used by the UEFI firmware to display logos during the boot process or in the BIOS setup. Hackers can use the firmware attack to compromise the entire system and bypass security measures such as Secure Boot.

Meta launched a new AI image generator for web and its social media apps

The image generator is called “Imagine with Meta”. Similar to popular tools like DALL-E and Midjourney, Imagine with Meta is based on the Emu image generation diffusion model.
