OpenAI unveiled a new tool that can detect AI generated images

The company announced a new tool that will help users detect whether a photo was made by its DALL-E generative AI image generator. Additionally, OpenAI is working on creating new watermarks on these AI-generated images to easily determine if they are from DALL-E.

Microsoft has developed a generative AI model designed specifically for US intelligence organizations like the CIA

The AI model, which is based on OpenAI’s GPT-4 LLM, can read data but cannot learn from it. Also, the service is cut off from data on the internet to keep any classified data from being leaked.

Media Manager will allow creators and content owners to identify their works to OpenAI and specify how they want those works to be included or excluded from AI research and training.

Apple announces the new M4 chip

M4 comes with Apple’s fastest Neural Engine ever, capable of up to 38 trillion operations per second, which Apple says is “faster than the neural processing unit of any AI PC today”. Apple has decided to use the iPad Pro as the launch platform for the M4 chip.
