Facebook will soon add support for passkeys on Android and iOS
Passkeys allows users to log in using Face ID, a fingerprint scanner, or a PIN, depending on the device. Using such biometric measures, users can access their Facebook account more securely while also not having to memorize a password. The company also plans to add the feature to the Messenger app.

Adobe made a mobile app for the Firefly generative AI features
The app allows users to generate images and videos using text descriptions, as well as experiment with AI photo-editing tools. Anything made within this mobile app will automatically sync to the Adobe account.

Midjourney unveiled its first AI video generation model, V1
The AI model an generate videos from existing images. The initial results will be five-second clips that a user can opt to extend by four seconds up to four times. Videos can be generated on web only for now and require at least a $10 a month subscription to access.

OpenAI has signed a $200 million contract to provide the U.S. Defense Department with AI tools
