The treaty, called the Framework Convention on Artificial Intelligence, focuses on three main areas: protecting human rights (including privacy and preventing discrimination), respecting the law, and keeping practices transparent. It also provides a legal framework covering the entire lifecycle of AI systems.

YouTube is developing tools to detect AI-generated voices and faces in videos
The first tool, described as a “synthetic-singing identification technology,” will allow artists and creators to automatically detect and manage YouTube content that simulates their singing voices using generative AI. And a face-detection tech will allegedly let people from various industries “detect and manage” content that uses an AI-generated depiction of their face.
