X launched the Grok AI assistant iPhone app in the US
The standalone app version of the chatbot, which xAI calls a beta, can perform the same functions as the one built into X, as it can answer questions and generate images. xAI is also working on a dedicated Grok.com website that currently has a “coming soon” message on it.
