Google’s Gemini AI now has a memory

Google Gemini can now “remember” certain things about users, such as interests and personal preferences. The change is now available only to subscribers with access to Gemini Advanced, and it will allow the AI chatbot to provide “even more helpful and relevant responses”, according to Gemini’s most recent release notes.

The U.S. Department of Justice will reportedly try to force Google to sell Chrome

Earlier this year, Google lost an antitrust lawsuit filed by the U.S. Department of Justice, where a judge found that the company had engaged in anticompetitive practices through its exclusive distribution agreements with other tech companies. The DoJ is considering enforcing “structural remedies” to prevent Google from using some its products.
