Google will label AI-generated and AI-edited images in Search
Google is planning to launch a technology that will identify whether a photo was taken with a camera, edited by software like Photoshop, or produced by generative AI models. The company will use C2PA’s authentication, a technical standard that includes information about where images originate.

Discord launched end-to-end encrypted voice and video chats
The company is calling the new system “Discord Audio and Video End-to-End Encryption,” or DAVE for short. The tech will be applied to calls from DMs, group DMs, voice channels and Go Live streams.
